Imlad Balchorth is a region of Angmar in The Lord of the Rings Online.

Surrounded by hills and south of Urugarth, this region is home to many apparitions, for its grounds consist of many cemeteries. One settlement found here is Myrkworth.

Etymology[]

Imlad is a Sindarin term meaning 'glen, deep valley'[1]. Balchorth is probably a version of the Sindarin term balchoth, which means 'horrible horde'. [2]
