I am an author, or well... soon to be one, at least I hope. I am fourteen, I've been writing and reading for as long as I can remember, and for the past seven months I've been writing a novel. It was only four months ago when I decided I'd rewrite my novel, making it longer and better, and instead it will become a trilogy. I am half-way through the first novel now, I wish not to speak of what it is about just yet, one day I shall reveal that, but I am aiming for 450 pages. It originally had 340, but I've extended it and removed pointless pieces. I have learnt much about writing, and many say I am quite fit to write a novel, not as professional as J.R.R Tolkien himself, no one will ever reach that height. Cheers :)
All I shall say is that the second and third books are based in a mythical land nearby Cornwall England called Chantrea. In Chantrea both Humans and Wizards live together, for the Human's have sworn to never tell the world they know of the Wizard's existance, and so they've been sent to live together in peace, and although the story is based on modern times (2004 onwards) it seems Chantrea is stuck in the 1400's.
The first novel, still being apart of the trilogy, "Chantrea" being the temporary name for it, is more about England, the United Kingdom, and Europe. The earth is slowly falling, and compliant creatures have taken over Europe, and they don't plan to go much further just yet: they're waiting for the armies of the world to fall before attacking. That's right, zombies, and rather intelligent ones at that. Magic, Voodoo, Teenage Love, Action and Adventure, this leads onto the next peice of the series.
