About My Lord Of The Rings Obsession

I basically learned about this site when searching around.

I've read The Lord of the Rings trilogy and have seen the films more times than I can count. My favorite book was The Two Towers, I enjoyed the mixture of both the comical and the dramatic happenings of this book- of which I feel the movie lacked. My favorite movie would be The Fellowship of the Ring (film). For me, the biggest disappointment of the films was that the Eowyn and Faramir romance and beautiful friendship was left out, my second concern was the tension that was often expressed in Frodo and Sam's friendship in The Return of the King (film). However, they still succeed to be my favorite movies.

My favorite character would be Frodo Baggins, I found it amazing how he endured so much and I love how he sees his servant and himself as equals. My second favorite is Samwise Gamgee, I admire his ever burning bravery, beautiful humility and undying love for his master. Next would be Eowyn, for her courage and skill. What I enjoy most about these stories is the true love, friendship and diversity of peoples- these stories are inspirational and could teach a lesson to planet Earth. The characters I mentioned also portray being able to succeed, no matter your sex, race or profession.

My favorite actor in the films was Elijah Wood, I enjoy several of his other movies, as well. My second was Sean Astin, again, I enjoy his other movies, as well.

I have a Lord Of The Rings mega poster that consistently falls off of the wall and onto my head when I'm sleeping or studying, but I put it up anyways because my sister and I love it so much. I wear a replica ring on a chain around my neck all the time. I role play as Frodo often, even though I'm a girl. Growing up, Frodo Baggins was my so called super hero and I admired him as much as a kid would any other hero, I also marched around claiming I was him.

Besides the trilogy, I have read The Hobbit.

Things Not Concerning Lord Of The Rings

I live in a small town with my parents and am the second oldest out of 6 kids. I'm 14 and a freshmen in High School, I've been home schooled and in and out of virtual schools- I'm currently in a virtual school that I plan on graduating from. My best subject is English and I hope to be a published fantasy or fiction story writer. I'm a musician whom sings and plays guitar, I listen to ALL music. I have two friends at my High School and, hey, that's all I need. I enjoy politics and am a hardcore teenage republican. I'm Christian and teach at a youth group. My role models are J.R.R. Tolkien and Mike Huckabee. Three of my brothers are mentally disabled, one of those three only has autism and it only affects his speech so I communicate to him through American Sign Language. I also speak perfect English and decent Spanish. I also spend a lot of time on websites and managing my own with a very little amount of assistance from two of my younger brothers.

What will I do as a user?

I plan on following the rules, as I always do. Heh. I also don't plan on making huge articles and such because I don't think I'm ready yet, my goal is just to make minor edits to grammatical mistakes or mistaken facts. I also will try to make something of a few of the stub pages. Seeing as I study literature and want to be a published writer, I will do my best to write neatly and properly. School and studies are my main priority during the week, but I will be active on weekends and holidays.

Heritage: Mexican, with some Polish.

Wears: Black... leggings, t-shirts, jeans, sweaters... and the one ring always around my neck! :D And my late Grandma's emerald ring on the middle finger of my right hand.
