The Ulumúri were the great horns of the Vala Ulmo, the Lord of Waters.

HistoryEdit

Ulumúri made for him by his Maia friend and servant Salmar. They were wrought of white shell Conches. Ulmo would play the great horns when he came to the coasts or up through the rivers of Middle-earth, and all who heard it longed forever in their hearts for the sea never forgetting what they heard.[1]

EtymologyEdit

Ulumúri is a Quenyan word.[2]
