The Tower of Tar-Minastir, by Losse Elda
The Tower of Tar-Minastir was a high tower in the western part of Númenor.
It was located in the province of Andustar south of the coastal city of Andúnië and could be reached by a road that connected Ondosto to Andúnië.[1]
History
The Tower was built by Tar-Minastir, the eleventh King of Númenor sometime between SA 1731 and SA 1869 to gaze upon the West. Tar-Palantir spent much time here ever yearning for the West and watching for any ship embarking from Tol Eressëa, but none ever did ever again. The tower along with everything else perished in the Downfall of Númenor.[2][3]
