Timeless Halls
The Timeless Halls is the home of Eru.
They are similar to the concept of a 'Heaven' in that they exist outside the boundaries of the universe and in that they do not have a physical form. It is unknown whether they are to be the final destination of the souls of Men. This is a distinct possibility, however.
The Music of the Ainur was composed here as described in the Ainulindalë. It is also the home of the Ainur that chose not to descend into Eä, and instead chose to remain with Eru.
