The Return of Túrin to Dor-lómin is the eleventh chapter of J.R.R Tolkien's The Children of Húrin.

  • 12 - The Return of Túrin to Dor-lómin - After Glaurung deceived Túrin, saying that his family was forsaken, Túrin rushed to return to his home land in Dor-lómin. When he arrived he found that Morwen and Niënor had left and their home had been ransacked by the new Easterling residents of Lady Aerin's house. Here Túrin met his childhood friend Sador, and they discussed his family. When Túrin confronted the Easterling leaders he realised the falsity of the web of lies Glaurung had laid upon him. In anger he killed Brodda, and soon the servants rebelled against their masters and fought alongside Túrin. In this fight Sador was wounded, and after advising Túrin to go, he died. Túrin left, followed by the servants of the house. When he looked back he saw the house burning, for the Lady Aerin had set it afire. Túrin then began his journey towards Doriath, ever seeking news of Finduilas.
