The Passing of the Elves is the tenth soundtrack of The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.

Background

Its usage in the film is unknown.
Since the only mention of Elves before Rivendell is Gildor Inglorion. But he was absented from the trilogy. So perhaps it is a clue that in the original screenplay, there are such part with this soundtrack as background music.
