The movie isn't out yet. Unless you have some very good, confirmable inside information (in which case you'd better leave a reference with a good citation), don't start guessing; details about what happens in the movie should not be left on the page until the movie's release. Release Date[]
I think the release date will be moved again from December the 17th to Boxing Day, since the other hobbit films were released on Boxing Day 110.20.130.141 22:44, January 31, 2014 (UTC)

This is not the only film with an R rating. What about Return of the King? It's violent enough to be Restricted.
