The One Wiki to Rule Them All

The quote at the top of the article is taken from the book found by Gandalf in the Chamber of Mazarbul. The quote is accurate, but the article mistakenly attributes it to Balin. It could not have been written by him, however, because 1) he was already dead, and 2) an earlier sentence of the same entry refers to how he died.—N3rus 01:56, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

I forgot to mention that Gimli attributes the book entry to Ori.—N3rus 03:45, 8 March 2007 (UTC)

Moria and Pearls[]

I am puzzled at the inclusion of pearls being one of the types of items found in the Mines of Moria mentioned in this entry. I don't have any references handy to check which items were to be found there, but pearls are, of course, from oysters, unless the entry is referring to 'cave pearls'.

Gandalf's passage[]

I believe there has been a mistake concerning some of the members of the Fellowship's previous experience with the Mines:

"The wizard Gandalf entered the city for the first time at some point between TA 2845 and TA 2950 searching for King Thrain ll, who had recently disappeared on a journey to Lonely Mountain."

This is incorrect (as far as i can see, since i make this determination not from personal knowledge but from random browsing of this wikia), as both Gandalf's and Thrain II's pages say that Gandalf was on a mission to Dol Guldur when he happened upon a tortured and emaciated Thrain II, and Thrain gave him the map for Thorin. Gandalf definitely did not search for Thrain II according to this wikia.

Furthermore, i can find no mention whatsoever of when or why Gandalf actually DID go through the Mines, but from his declaration in the movies, "I have no memory of this place," i have to assume that he did, but the only wikia page that mentions someone's previous experience is Aragorn's page that says he went through the Mines on his way to Harad

Can anyone who actually has the knowledge that i lack correct this? (when and why Gandalf went through the Mines, or if the passage meant to say Aragorn with those dates. Also, maybe include Aragorn's previous passage through in addition to Gandalf's?) 130.85.223.18 03:40, November 20, 2014 (UTC)

I would like a video with all of Moria that features in the movie, so i can make my own Moria DurinTheDeathless 15:31, April 20, 2015 (UTC)

Map[]

I think there should be a picture of the map of Moria on this page. Otherwise, people don't know what the rest of Moria looks like.
