The One Wiki to Rule Them All

I have come across this source for Adunaic: http://folk.uib.no/hnohf/adunaic.htm. It says that Tolkien intended Adunaic to have a "faintly Semitic flavor". This leads me to believe that Adunaic was supposed to sound like Yiddish, a German dialect with major influence from Hebrew and the Slavic languages as well as minor influence from the Romance languages. Yiddish was the language of some of my ancestors who were Ashkenazi Jews.
