Sorontil also known as Eagle-horn was a great mountain peak in the northern part of the Númenórean province of Forostar.[1]

Sorontil rose up from the coasts of Forostar as sheer tremendously steep cliffs. It was here that the King Tar-Meneldur built a tower.[2][3][4]
