The One Wiki to Rule Them All
This article refers to the Orc kind. For other namesakes, see Snaga (disambiguation).

Snaga was the lowest or lesser breed of Orc in the Third Age. It was also a term for "slave," and was used most by the Uruk-hai.

Portrayal in adaptations[]

In The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, "Snaga" is the name of an Orc in the band that meets up with Uglúk's company. Many of the goblins in Isengard are of this breed, mainly those working in the caverns under the watchful eye of Saruman.

The term ''Snaga'' is often used by the franchise's numerous toy and collectibles manufacturers, such as 3-D entertainment model producer Gentle Giant Studios, which released an exclusive sculpted Snaga bust, limited to 1500 pieces, in May 2008.
