The Hobbit film trilogy
In late Third Age, Sigrid lived in Lake-town along with her father Bard the Bowman, brother Bain and younger sister Tilda. After her father returned home, Sigrid was very happy, greeting him and explaining that she was getting worried since he had been gone all day. However, it is revealed that Bard was smuggling a group of Dwarves led by Thorin II Oakenshield. When she noticed the Dwarves and their Hobbit companion Bilbo Baggins coming out of the toilet, she asked her father why they were there. After Thorin and the rest of the Dwarves ventured to reclaim the Lonely Mountain that was stolen from Smaug the Terrible, Sigrid walked outside when she heard a noise. Thinking it was her father, she calls out for him until she was attacked by an Orc, who was part of Bolg's hunting party to find and kill Thorin. The Orc shoves her roughly into a bench at the table, which she hides under, pulling her sister close. They were eventually saved by Legolas and Tauriel, who were following Bolg and his Orcs, and defeated them. After been saved, Sigrid and her sister try as much to restrain a dying Kili in order to allow Tauriel to heal him with the Athelas plant that she obtained from Bofur.
During the onslaught of Smaug, she escaped the town with her sister, the Elf Tauriel and the Dwarves. They relocated to the ruins of Dale. After the Orcs attacked Dale, Sigrid and her siblings hid in the Great Hall on the main square, although their journey there was beset with dangers.
