Sean Bean (born April 17, 1959) was the actor who played Boromir in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings movies. Other films he has starred in include the James Bond film GoldenEye and Troy, as Odysseus. He is also famed for his role as Sharpe in the TV series of the same name.
