Rose Gamgee also known as Rosie-lass was born in SR 1425, was the third child and second daughter of Samwise Gamgee and his wife Rosie (née Cotton) Gamgee.

HistoryEdit

Rose had ten younger siblings: Merry, Pippin, Goldilocks, Hamfast, Daisy, Primrose, Bilbo, Rudy, Robin, and Tolman.

She was one of the children Frodo had prophesized for her father, Sam.

Her namesake was obviously her mother, Rosie.
