Reiner Knizia (born 1957, Germany) is a German board game designer.

He designed the Lord of the Rings (board game) which so far has been his best selling game.

ProfileEdit

Reiner started developing games for Postspillion, a play-by-mail game Zine that he founded 1985. He started designing games full-time in 1997. He also holds a PhD in mathematics. He currently resides in England.

AwardsEdit

He was inducted into the Gaming Hall of Fame in 2002.
