The Proudfoot family were a Hobbit clan living in the Shire.

They insist that if there is more than one of them, they are known as Proudfeet, not Proudfoots.

They were known for their large feet.

HistoryEdit

The family probably existed for many generations but its latest known member was Bodo Proudfoot, who was best known for relating the Proudfoots to the Baggins family by marrying Linda Baggins. They were invited to and attended Bilbo's Farewell Birthday Party in September 3001. Presumably, the family continued into the Fourth Age.
