Biography
Edit
Paladin was the only son of Adalgrim Took and his unnamed wife and the brother of Esmeralda (Took) Brandybuck. Paladin married Eglantine Banks, and had four children: Pearl Took, Pimpernel Took, Pervinca Took, and Peregrin Took. Peregrin, or Pippin, was the only boy and after his father's death. When Saruman took control of the Shire through Lotho, he resisted and organized a defense against the Chief's men.[1]
