Púkel-men were the names of the statues lining the road to Dunharrow.
They were carved sometime in the early Second Age by the Men of the White Mountains who were quite possibly descendants of the Drúedain. These statues were thought to resemble the Woses in likeness. The men who carved the statues were removed from the White Mountains by evil men sometime thereafter.
