The Old Guesthouse was the main inn in the city of Minas Tirith located on Rath Celerdain, directly behind the Othram near the Great Gates.[1]

The Old Guesthouse was a large building made of grey stone that had become weathered with age. It consisted of two wings with a narrow greensward that stood between them and small house with many windows and pillared porch with a flight of steps leading down to a grass yard. Many Gondorian soldiers were to be found here.

Pippin visited here after Beregond went on guard duty.

The Old Guesthouse may have been damaged during the Siege of Gondor.[2][3]
