Norman Forsey (born January 3, 1963 in Hastings, Great Britain) is a Kiwi actor. He had a minor role in The Fellowship of the Ring, where he played the role of Hamfast Gamgee, The Gaffer, the father of Samwise Gamgee.

Norman Forsey lived as a computer technician and a wardrobe manager, until he met up with director Sam Pillsbury in 1982, while Norman was doing some decorating work. He quickly got a role in The Scarecrow. From that moment on, his acting career took off and he got other roles in like Xena:Warrior Princess. He lives in Wellington.
