Nessa (Quenya Tengwar: 5$,E or Vanyarin 5$I;E; IPA: [ˈnessa]) is an Ainu, the least of the Queens of the Valar and of all the Valar of Valinor; all the others are Maiar.

HistoryEdit

Nessa was the sister of Oromë. Nessa is lithe and swift of foot; she loves fast moving creatures such as deer. She is also a dancer. Nessa is also noted for her speed, and she can outrun the deer who follow her in the wilds. Nessa married the valiant warrior Tulkas in Almaren, during the Spring of Arda.

Before the destruction of Almaren, she would often dance her dances on its great green grasses and later in Valimar on never-fading green lawns.
