FANDOM


Nenning was a river of the West Beleriand.

It had its wells in the hills lying north-west in West Beleriand south of the Ered Wethrin, near the Woods of Núath.

It ran to the bay of Eglarest where it met the sea Belegaer and also served as a the border between the Havens of the Falas and Finrod's realm of Nargothrond.

According to The Atlas of Middle-earth, it approximately 100 miles in length.[1]

EtymologyEdit

Nenning was a Sindarin word.[2]
