Narmacil II was the twenty-ninth King of Gondor and the son of Telumehtar.

Biography

In the sixth year of his brief reign, a federation of Easterlings called the Wainriders overran Gondor's territories on the eastern bank of the Anduin. Narmacil marched to Rhovanion to fight the invaders but was utterly defeated and slain at the Battle of the Plains. He was one-hundred and seventy-two years old and ruled for only six years. He was succeeded by his son Calimehtar.[2][3]
