The Nan Ungol, "Valley of Spiders", was a valley in the South-west corner of Mordor against the vertex of the Ered Lithui and the Ephel Duath where many of Ungoliant's brood (Spiders) lived.

It appears in a map of Mordor not seen in the Lord of the Rings books, by Tolkien.
