Mungo Baggins was a Hobbit of the Shire.
Biography
Mungo was the eldest son of Balbo Baggins and Berylla Boffin. Mungo had four younger siblings: Pansy, Ponto, Largo, and Lily. Mungo married Laura Grubb and had five children, Bungo, Belba, Longo, Linda, and Bingo. He was the grandfather of Bilbo Baggins.[1]
Portrayal in adaptations
- In The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey, Mungo is mentioned when Bilbo orders Gloin to put down one of the chairs (which one of them was Mungo's).
