Merethrond also known as the Great Hall of Feasts was a great hall in Minas Tirith used by the nobility of Gondor for feasting. It is located in the Citadel next to the Tower of Ecthelion.[1]

Aragorn met Éomer at this place once the War of the Ring ended.[2]

EtymologyEdit

Merethrond is a Sindarin word that meant 'Fell-hall' or 'Hall of Feasts'.[3]
