In TA 2941, Worrywort appeared selling tubers near the market at the Green Dragon Inn, when Bilbo Baggins shopped at the market after encountering Gandalf he asked Worrywort if he saw the wizard and he replies that he hadn't, which his neighbor would later run when he thought he saw Gandalf. When Bilbo was leaving to join Thorin II Oakenshield and the other Dwarves on their journey to the Lonely Mountain, Worrywort asked where he was off to. Later, he was the first to greet Bilbo when he returned to Shire. But he quickly figured out that Bilbo should be dead and shouldn't appear at that moment.
