Marhari was a Northman noble of Rhovanion and a descendant of King Vidugavia.
History[]
In TA 1856, Marhari and King Narmacil II of Gondor led a combined force of Men from Gondor and Men from Rhovanion into the disastrous Battle of the Plains where they were both slain, with Marhari slain in the rearguard. The Wainriders then enslaved the people of Vidugavia's realm.
His son Marhwini led a group of survivors to refuge in the Vales of Anduin, where they founded a colony and became the Éothéod, the ancestors of the Rohirrim.[1]
