Marcho was a Hobbit of Fallohide blood.

Originally living in Bree, he and his brother Blanco decided to journey westward in search of new lands to settle. By TA 1601, he and his brother reached a rich and fertile land between the Baranduin and the Far Downs where they founded The Shire.
