Littleheart, whose real name was Ilfrin, was an Elf of Tol Eressëa who is mentioned only in earlier versions of the Middle-earth legendarium.[1]

Littleheart son of Bronweg was the "gong-warden" of a small host of Elves in Tol Eressëa. He served as a guide for a time to the Man of Eriol while he was on Tol Eressëa. At the Cottage of Lost Play, he once narrated the story of Tuor and the Fall and Exiles of Gondolin.

By Gilfanon, it was said that this Elf was the only one still alive who had seen the Necklace of the Dwarves. [2]

Earlier names Edit

Before Ilfrith was the final version of his birth-name, this character's earlier names were Infiniol, ElfriniolElfriniel, Ilfrith, and Elfrith.[3]
