Letter 66 is the sixty-sixth letter written by J.R.R. Tolkien and published in The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien.

SummaryEdit

Tolkien communicated a few remarks about the moderate airgraph framework. The Professor and his child composed a ton, however since their letters arrived late, they couldn't answer legitimately. He then related a few recollections of preparing camp, and remarks about the war. He saw the war as a fight against Sauron with the Ring, however by one means or another they are winning it. The punishment for this war was, nonetheless, creating new Saurons, and transforming Men and Elves into Orcs. He saw his child as "a hobbit among the Uruk-hai".

The following subject was the current condition of The Lord of the Rings, where another character had entered the scene: "(I am certain I didn't create him, I didn't even need him, however I like him, yet there he came strolling into the forested areas of Ithilien): Faramir, sibling of Boromir". Tolkien reported that there had been a fight, which incorporated a massive Oliphaunt, however he anticipated getting Sam and Frodo to Cirith Ungol (In the original letter, the word "Kirith Ungol" is used) finally.
