Letter 6 is the sixth letter written by J.R.R. Tolkien and published in The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Mrs. Wright was the wife of Joseph Wright, Tolkien's previous philology Educator. Mrs Wright had sent Tolkien an offprint of an article by her spouse about Sir Gawain and the Green Knight. Tolkien recognized its landing with appreciation, and got some information about her spouse. He then recounted his home circumstance: John and Michael first and after that his wife and nursemaid had been sick with measles for the vast majority of January

In a postscript he informed her that philology was making progress at the University of Leeds.
