Letter 50 is the fiftieth letter written by J.R.R. Tolkien and published in The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien.

Tolkien answered to his child that the poplars were then leafless (with the exception of one top splash), yet it was still a green and verdant late October. Lewis and C.E.M. Joad another night.
