Letter 18 is the eighteenth letter written by J.R.R. Tolkien and published in The Letters of J.R.R. Tolkien.

This letter only have two sentences and was sent to Stanley Unwin. Tolkien was called as a genius by Stanley. Stanley seldom says that to others, and as a matter of fact this was the first time in 30 years. Tolkien thanked him about this, and told him something that he would write soon.
