Laurinquë was one of the Fragrant Trees brought by the Elves from Tol Eressëa to Númenor. These trees grew in abundance on Hyarrostar. Laurinquë had long-hanging yellow flowers and was falsely rumored to be descended from Laurelin.[1]
Etymology
The name Laurinquë consists of the Quenyan terms laure ("gold") and possibly -inqua, an adjectival ending.[citation needed]
