The Laer Cú Beleg was the lament composed by Túrin Turambar in remembrance for his friend Beleg Cúthalion, who died in his hands during the First Age. Túrin was described to be "singing it aloud heedless of peril". It was sung at Eithel Ivrin.[1][2]

EtymologyEdit

Laer Cú Beleg is Sindarin for "Song of the Great Bow".[1]
