Lórellin was a lake in the Gardens of Lorien in far western Valinor.[1]

Lórellin was surrounded by a forest of trees and at its center lay a small island where the Valar Estë, wife of Irmo, slept during the day.[2]

Behind the scenesEdit

Lórellin seems to be the only major lake within Valinor to be mentioned in Tolkien's stories.
