James Horan (b. December 14, 1954 Louisville, Kentucky, USA) is an American actor and voice actor.

He did the voice for Smaug in the 2003 video game release of The Hobbit and Boromir in the 2004 video game release The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth.

James Horan is otherwise known for doing the voices for several other video games such as: Star Trek: Starfleet Command III, The Punisher, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and EverQuest II.

As actor he played Det. Kirk Winters in Guiding Light, Denny Hobson in Another World, Creed Kelly in All My Children, The Humanoid Figure in Star Trek: Enterprise, Don Gilberto Risendo in Zorro, various roles in Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Star Trek: Voyager, and Grayson in Highlander.
