Iron Crown Enterprises is a formerly active game manufacturer and publishing company in the United States. Beginning in 1980, the company produced multiple board games, role-playing games, and card games based on the works of J.R.R. Tolkien, along with many other fantasy-genre adaptations.
In 2000, Iron Crown filed for bankruptcy, and as a result lost their Middle-earth license. Its assets, however, were purchased the following year by a different firm, and as of 2016 is held by Guild Companions Publications.
