Hyarmentir was a mountain southeast of Valinor in Aman.

HistoryEdit

Hyarmentir was the highest mountain peak in southern Aman. Ungoliant's Lair was located south of it. ^[1] Before they destroyed the Two Trees, Melkor and Ungoliant gazed upon the bliss of the Blessed Realm from one of its highest peak.^[2]

EtymologyEdit

Hyarmentir is a Quenyan word.
