The One Wiki to Rule Them All

The House of Olwë was a noble house of Telerin Elves.

History

Around YT 1150, Olwë led the most of his people to Beleriand.[1] They stayed upon Tol Eressëa and were later called the Falmari. During this time, Olwë established many realms and moved his people to Alqualondë. Olwë married an unnamed elf, possibly of Telerin origin like himself, and had several sons and a daughter called Eärwen. Through Eärwen, the House of Olwë continued down to her sons Finrod (who founded his own house), Angrod, Aegnor, and Galadriel.[2] Through Angrod, his son Orodreth and Orodreth's children Finduilas and Gil-galad were members of this house. Galadriel's daughter Celebrían was also a member, and so were her children Elladan and Elrohir and Arwen.[3]

Their realms included Tol Eressëa, Alqualondë, and possibly Avallonë and Kortirion.
