Himling was a small island about twenty-five miles off the coast of northern Lindon in the northern part of the Great Sea, and about a dozen miles east of the island of Tol Fuin.
No one is known to have lived there either in the Second or Third ages or beyond.
History
Edit
During the First Age of Middle-earth, Himling was once a hill known as Himring which was the location of the realm of Maedhros, the eldest son of Fëanor. After the sinking of the Beleriand at the end of the War of Wrath, the peak of the hill remained afloat as an island.
