Hildibrand Took was a Hobbit of the Shire of the Took clan.

Hildibrand was born in TA 2849 to Gerontius Took and Adamanta Took as their eighth child. Hildibrand's siblings (keep in mind that Hildibrand was the eighth): Isengrim Took III, Hildigard Took, Isumbras Took IV, Hildigrim Took, Isembold Took, Hildifons Took, Isembard Took, Belladonna Took (Bilbo Baggins's mother), Donnamira Took, Mirabella (Took) Brandybuck, and Isengar Took. Hildibrand married an unknown woman and they had Sigismond Took, a son. Hildibrand died in TA 2934.
