Hardbottle was a settlement in the Northfarthing region of the Shire.
It was the traditional home of the Bracegirdles and the birthplace of Lobelia Sackville-Baggins, who, after being released from the Lockholes following the Battle of Bywater, returned there to be with her family.[1]
