Hamfast Gamgee II, born in SR 1432, was the seventh child and fourth son of Samwise Gamgee and Rosie (née Cotton) Gamgee.

HistoryEdit

He had six younger siblings Daisy, Primrose, Bilbo, Ruby, Robin, and Tolman.

Hamfast's namesake was his paternal grandfather, Hamfast Gamgee I, who around the Shire was known as the "Gaffer".

He was the first child of Sam's not to be foreseen by Frodo.
