About Halflings
Edit
There were also well-known halflings such as Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin. The halflings (or hobbits if you will) were excellent at throwing small objects such as rocks, but are not as good at close range as Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin were. The halflings were very good at climbing and all halflings' feet are immune to rough, rocky and wet terrain or environment. Halflings don't have beards and are slightly shorter than the dwarf race. Most halflings just love to eat. Pippin could be described as one of those, as in The Fellowship of the Ring, he asks Aragorn about second breakfast.
In adaptations
Edit
In Video Games
Edit
In the video game The Lord of the Rings: The Battle for Middle-earth II the halflings are only playable units for the elf race only without casting a power.
In the Movies
Edit
In the movies The Fellowship of the Ring (film) and The Return of the King (film) you get to see the some and most of halflings in their home, the Shire.
