Gorcrows were a legendary; potentially apocryphal species of birds whom of which made habitat in the same irriguous marshes as the Mewlips. The gorcrows were mentioned briefly during a passing in The Mewlips poem compiled into the 16 poem collection of The Adventures of Tom Bombadil.
