Gorbadoc "Broadbelt" Brandybuck was a Hobbit of the Shire.

HistoryEdit

Gorbadoc was married to Mirabella Took and father of seven children, including Primula. He was the grandfather of Frodo Baggins and great-grandfather of Meriadoc Brandybuck. His parents were Marmadoc Brandybuck and Adaldrida Bolger. Born in TA 2860 (SR 1260), he was noted by the Gaffer for "keeping a mighty generous table." Gorbadoc was the Master of the Hall (Brandy Hall) in Buckland. He died in TA 2963 (SR 1363).
